Global climate change is the result of increasing greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation. Indonesia has the highest rate of rain forest degradation and as residents, we are determined to save and preserve the environment around us.

Yayasan Tanam Pohon Indonesia was founded in April 2007. YTPI's mission is to:
1. Raise awareness of the role of rainforests in protecting the environment.
2. Take action against climate change, educate children on environmental issues and to Plant More Trees!

We aim to motivate and start a movement within Indonesia towards environmental love through reforestation, to benefit not only Indonesia but the whole world.

We realise that this is not easy but with your assistance, we can heal the planet and keep it in a better shape for our children and grandchildren.

+ Develop and educate the community and society to support the maintenance of the forestation projects.
+ Create and manage programs for recycling of paper.
