Planting trees is an effective way to reverse the effects of carbon dioxide emissions through photosynthesis. Revegetation is also an integral part of any global climate change program. On average, 1.4 tonnes or timber contain 1 tonne of carbon. These largely continue to be stored in the timber even after harvesting.
Santa Fe, Indonesia is now partnering with us to plant one tree for every household goods (sea) move that Santa Fe, Indonesia books from effective 1 July. We expect that this will equate to close to 500 trees per year. A sustainable CSR initiative.
The staff members will participate in our next tree planting event on Saturday, 20th Nov.
